Fake Tattoos Are A Fashion Trend That Looks Great

November 23, 2006 · Leave a Comment

Don’t you think that fake tattoos are the best!. You can get some great tattoo designs, celtic tattoos, butterfly tattoos, tattoo crosses, fairy tattoos, celebrity tattoos, (a britney spears tattoo, for instance) dragonfly tattoos, tattoo drawings, religious tattoos, sun tattoos, dolphin tattoos, flower tattoos, rising phoenix tattoos, dragon tatoos, skull tattoos, zodiac tattoos, a tattoo rose and even akanji tattoo. The different tattoo designs and tattoo artists that are around are absolutely fabulous. But what is even better is that you can get fake tattoos of all these designs and they look just as real.

Tattoos have been in the eastern cultures for many years. For westerners, tattoos are no longer as taboo as they once were, but this doesn’t mean that everyone should get one. Firstly, just think of the pain associated with a needle being stuck into you to insert the dye. Very, very painful. The usual tatoos are permanent, and with today’s divorce rate, you can see that permanent is not something that we tend to deal with very well.

You may love your tattoo body art now, but in the years to come you may change your mind…. and this is why the fake tattoos are so great! You can follow the fashion trend and it looks absolutely fabulous and when you’re sick of your fake tattoos  …… just wipe off with a soft cloth and some body oil. Easy!

Cancer Causes! – Medical Science Should Have Identified Them All By Now

November 23, 2006 · Leave a Comment

So, what about the cancer causes? Surely by now you would have thought that medical science would have some understanding of where this illness derives from and why it attacks some and not others.

When the cause is not genetic, I find it interesting how lifestyle is often a factor in many of these diseases. You’d think we’d have the lifestyle causes worked out and would as a race be avoiding the factors that contribute to a high incidence of cancer. Did you know that one factor which is a cancer cause concerns food. Indeed, that stuff you eat everyday could be pushing you closer and closer to cancer’s doorstep.

I Believe In The Benefits Of Guided Meditation

November 15, 2006 · 1 Comment

You know one of the biggest problems faced by people new to meditation is knowing what form or type of meditation to choose. There are so many great forms of meditation around and so little info!

Although the benefits of ‘meditation’ as a discipline are well known, and many people would really like to get a good meditation practice together, they often fail to take even the most rudimentary steps towards establishing a daily meditation practice. It’s no wonder really!

With Taoist meditation, yoga meditation, and literally thousands of other varieties of meditation out there, how can anyone sort through all the possibilities?

So I did it the easy way! I just got myself some guided meditation CD’s and now  have ’on tap’ the benefits of guided meditation at home.

If you want to know more, you can also check out meditation at The-Yoga-Spot.com

Sometimes You Just Need Some Time Out To Pamper Yourself

November 10, 2006 · Leave a Comment

You knowI’ve just been feeling totally drained.

You know what it’s like …. it’s this time of the year when everyone wants everything done at once. So the client who shouts the loudest gets their work done first … don’t you hate it.

So I just needed some time out. I couldn’t take more than a day so I thought I’d go to a day spa. I was feeling hideously fat so I thought a body wrap to loose extra inches would be good, a facial, manicure and pedicure would just do the trick. Well, let me tell you it was absolute heaven.

The salon had new age music playing in the background, aromatherapy candles burning to aid relaxation, great health food, totally the works.

I must admit I felt rejuvenated and relaxed when I got out of the day spa at the end of the day. Pity that feeling all came to an end the next morning with my first client … well, all the more reason to visit that day spa again.

Singles Die Younger Than Their Partnered Counterparts – Truth or Myth

November 10, 2006 · Leave a Comment

You know I didn’t want to believe my friend when he told me that singles die younger than their married (think stable relationship) counterparts! I thought he was just having a lend of me!

So I decided to do a little research and check this statement out.

Well didn’t I get a shock when I found that a study about this had actually been done by scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles. And do you know what they found?

They  found that ”individuals of all age ranges who are single or who used to have a relationship are more likely to have shorter life spans than individuals with stable marriages and families.”

Well, where does that leave all those people who enjoy living single lifestyles …. with great but short lives?

What’s more frustrating is that Greg, my friend, was correct! And you know what? I met him through an online dating service.

I met him by chance only because I was wanting to get another friend off my back. She’d had to put up with me when I broke up with my long standing partner and she was probably sick of me moping around. So, she was the one that had suggested a particular online adult dating site. In a way I’m glad she did as Greg has turned out to be a great and true friend. We’re not suited, as it turns out, to be together but we’re the best of friends.

So if you’re like me and enjoy your single lifestyle then surround yourself with fun and interesting people and hopefully live a long and fun-filled life.

Don’t Fall Off Your Horse Without Having Accident Insurance

November 9, 2006 · Leave a Comment

You know the other day I was out riding my horses and it dawned on me how totally ‘up the creek’ I’d be if I hadn’t taken out insurance this time round. I was out in the bush and  if I fell off and hurt myself badly ….. I don’t just mean a bit of a bump or a sore backside … but a real injury, then I could potentially have the same problem I had last year.

In fact  a ‘real injury’ did occur last year when I came off a horse I was training. I suffered concussion …. it lasted a short while and a very, very sore backside. Actually, I broke off my tailbone … the silly doctors didn’t even realize as they were too busy x -raying my head to pay any attention to the HUGE bruise that was forming on my backside. It was the injury to my tailbone that really caused the upheaval!

The point of this tale is that for well over 8 months last year I couldn’t really sit on my  backside without excruciating pain (can you imagine, cant sit at your computer, cant sit in the car, cant sit to have dinner …) even sleeping of an evening was an ordeal as the moment pressure was put on the area of the broken off tailbone chip, it would send pain stabbing throughout my body.

Sadly for me, I hadn’t taken out any accident insurance so I was really out of pocket having to fund my convalescence.

The moral of this sad and silly tale is that if your job involves you in some risk, then you owe it to your self to take out accident insurance to cover yourself if something happens.

I have at least learnt from my past experience and now make sure that I have accident insurance.

ADHD Article – Where To Start on Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

November 8, 2006 · Leave a Comment

There is so much information on the net about Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder that it can become confusing and overwhelming for anyone who is trying to get specific facts about the disorder.

Parents just want to know the low down on what their children will be experiencing and how to cope with it. As unsettling as it can be for the children it can be really frustrating for parents wanting to know how to best control their children and react to them. It often puts and inordinate strain on their relationships. I’ve had to work on my relationship as I’ve had to struggle not only with my child but also with my partner who hasn’t quite taken the time to understand the disorder.

The upshot of it is, that if you want to get through this as a family you have to understand what it’s about and be a unified in the way you handle it. You really need to be ONE for All and ALL for One!

About Stretch Marks – You Can Learn To Live With Them

November 8, 2006 · 1 Comment

I’m a very vain person and  hate to have anything not quite right with my face or body …. actually in any way.

While I don’t get everything going my way, I can at least look my best as it’s something that I can do something about and control … well most of the time!

As I was growing up I was mortified to discover that as my weight was fluctuating, I  was starting to get these unsightly stretch marks. Now you might say, keep your weight in check … but as you well know, that’s not always possible. Where they appeared was on my hips and my inner thighs. A great many people share this problem and don’t think you’re alone in this.

But before seeking treatment for those ugly stretch marks, it is a good idea to find out as much information about stretch marks and why they occur as you can.

Universal Health Facts is the place to go to get this type of information!

Get Funky With Non Piercing Body Jewelry

November 8, 2006 · 1 Comment

Have you noticed – everyone’s in to body jewelry! But it doesn’t have to hurt for body jewelry to be erotic, exotic or exciting -  you can get the non piercing and non invasive kind. I personally always wear it. Looks great with swimwear or at the gym …

Many people are turning to this option as it is a safer, less ….. dare I say …. uncomfortable way to look sexy. Whether you’re in to tats, nipple rings, chains, belly button rings or belly chains or pearl and lace thongs, this form of non piercing body jewelry can enhance your look and stimulate excitement. Not only that, there are many items for guys as well. Non piercing body jewelry has a huge range of exotic and erotic items to offer.

I love my body jewelry especially as it’s non invasive and  ….. just adds to the sexiness. Th added bonus is that it looks just as good as it’s pierced cousins but doesn’t cause the infections. Got to be a BIG plus!
